"Pindari House is going to be my final long standing work assignment, it presents me with the environment that I have always wanted to continue my work in. My own business in catering and entertaining guests from all walks of life."

"My objective is simple.. to offer a warm, comfortable temporary home to travelers and tourists who visit us. I want them to feel at home and to feel pampered. Pindari House is my own version of an exclusive and refined Bed and Breakfast."

"I look forward to personally meeting and greeting each and every one of our clients and seeing to it that their stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. I always have been and remain a hands on person, and I am so glad to be continue my work in the beauty and warmth of the Hunter Region in Australia."

"The future for Pindari House holds many possibilities, the greatest achievement for me is to hold a prominent position in the short list of exclusive stays in the Hunter region. But we are also looking closely at extending our catering and hospitality to cover daily functions and luncheon parties."

"Whatever the reason for anyone's visit is, I want them to know that it is they that I care most about."

Meet Monika, the owner of Pindari House

At the helm of all good catering and hospitality is a highly experienced and dedicated professional, and Pindari House is absolutely no exception. The exclusive Hunter River Bed and Breakfast facility is owned and managed by Monika Banks, a truly dedicated professional with a proud wealth of experience in caring for others.

From royalty to film and music stars, from the very wealthy to the tourist, Monika has spent her life in the field of hospitality and catering. It could only be fitting therefore, for Monika to continue her dedication to others by opening the doors of Pindari House in 2002 following a long, varied and colorful career..

"Having known Monika personally for some 15 years, it has troubled me to know that England has lost such a rose of great virtue. Monika left her British roots in 2001 to take up the way of life she came to adore in Australia, now alas we’'ve lost a lady of no compare in the catering business. One who dotes on and prides herself in meeting the every want and need of those she entertains, in a personal and yet professional fashion. I’'ll never forget my surprise at the excellence with which she first dined myself and friends at a homely dinner party in the hot summer of 1991 in southern England..

Monika paid such close detail to every single thing that made the evening up … from the glorious fine bone china dinner service, to the floral displays, from the warm and friendly company to the romantic glow of dinner candles in elegant silver holders, from the fine cloth napkins to the fabulous dinner table setting and from the humble saunter of gentle music on the summer air to the aromatic wisp of fine red and white wines and aperitifs, it was all the beginning of a catering experience. The crown of the occasion was of-course the food itself. I’d experienced a good deal of culinary expertise in my travels, from the grandeur of the Chewton Glen in England to the semi al fresco dining at The Sandpiper Inn on the west coast of Barbados and the truly al fresco hum of the Marbella Club Hotel. But Monika’s dinner was by far the most ingratiating, the most gratifying, the most enjoyable and warming experience I could have had. Whilst I never saw a single bird that evening, I am sure that they sang their little hearts out. Every single one of us left the party as very good friends and certainly met on many occasions thereafter, often in the warm company of Monika.

You see, its not just the fine cuisine, its the whole ‘Monika experience’ which inspires us all, that unwavering desire to entertain with her expertise in not just catering but personable hospitality and well a choreographed setting. I am lucky because I hold enduring memories and ... well, I can always fly to Australia I guess."
